Iceland's first car

In 1768, the first steam engine car was made able to carry people. The car was a steam-powered because the technology had not not come further than that. Made by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. He was a French inventor who was an educated military engineer. A steam-powered engine was the best and easiest option this time.In 1807 a man by the name François Isaac de Rivaz designed the first car powered by the combustion engine that is still used in cars today. He went for hydrogen. François was a French inventor and politician and invented the combustion engine. In 1886 was the first gasoline car named "Benz Patent-motorwagen" created by Karl Benz. Karl Benz was a German automobile engineer, he is one of the founding performance vehicle maker, Mercedes-Benz. MB is among the most famous cars in the world.
