FORD T-MODEL

 

- Were made from 1908 to 1927. 

- 15 million copies made. 

- 4 cylinder. 

- 20-22 horsepower.

- 64 - 72 km/h top speed. 

- Put together in Detroit and many places overseas. 

BENZ 1885

 

- Origin: Germany.  

- Top speed: 10 km/h. 

- Karl Benz designed it. 

- Made in 1885 but got patent 1886. 

- One cylinder.

- Origin: Germany.

- One cylinder engine. 

- Top speed 32 km/h. 

- Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach made. 

- First 4 wheel vehicle with a petrol engine. 

SUNBEAM-MABLEY 1901
 

- Origin: Britain. 

- One cylinder engine. 

- Top speed 32 km/h. 

- Made by Sunbeam bicycle factory. 

FRANKLIN A-TYPE 1902

 

- Origin: United States. 

- John Wilkinson designed. 

- 4 cylinder.

- First 4 cylinder car in the United States. 

- Top speed 40 km/h.

 

ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER

 

- Origin: Britain. 

- Top speed: 80 - 120 km/h. 

- 6 cylinder. 

- Not disc brakes, only rear brakes until 1924. 

- 65 horsepower. 

MAXWELL A-MODEL JUNIOR RUNABOUT 1904

 

- Origin: United States. 

- 2 cylinder. 

- Jonathan Maxwell and Benjamin Briscoe designed. 

- Only $750 US dollars. 

- Top speed: 56 km/h. 

 

 

LANCIA ALPHA 1907

 

- Origin: Italy. 

- Top speed: 80 km/h. 

- 4 cylinder. 

- 4 gears.

- Modern and solidly. 

 

FIAT 24/40 1906

 

- Origin: Ítalía. 

- Made with a big engine for high society people. 

- 4 cylinder. 

- A light race car was made with the same undercarriage.

- Henry Leland designed.

- Peugeot was a family company that started selling iron. 

- Only 360 cars sold.
